Hello, I'm Maria - the designer and maker behind MariazWearables.

Creating has always been part of who I am. I love designing original wearable art that allows people to express their individuality. Although this shop focuses on my handmade jewellery and accessories, my creativity extends into textile art, handmade clothing and giving pre-loved fabrics a new life. I believe beautiful design should be personal, thoughtful and created with care.

Every piece of jewellery and accessories you see here is designed and handcrafted by me using textiles, lace, natural fibers (cotton, linen) and carefully selected components. I have a particular love for creating earrings, especially one-of-a-kind pieces that can never be exactly repeated. I enjoy exploring textures, colour combinations and unexpected materials, allowing each design to develop naturally until it finds its own character.

MariazWearables is built around the values of slow fashion and mindful craftsmanship. Rather than producing large quantities, I prefer creating in small batches or as individual pieces, taking the time to make every piece distinctive, beautifully finished and made to be treasured. I believe handmade objects carry a story, and that choosing them is a small but meaningful way to support creativity, sustainability and independent makers.

Behind the scenes, I'm also fortunate to have the support of my wonderful twin sister, who is helping me share my creative journey on social media while I spend more time doing what I love most – designing and making.
