Blue Glass & Silver Crochet Flower Earrings

An original pair of handmade textile earrings, designed and created by me using crochet and layered textile elements.

The earrings combine natural cotton and linen yarns in soft beige and ivory shades, with metallic viscose yarn adding a delicate silver sparkle. At the centre of each flower sits a deep blue glass bead, creating a rich point of colour against the natural fibres.

The layered crochet gives the earrings depth and an organic, slightly sculptural character. The textile elements are treated to make them firmer and more durable, helping the earrings keep their shape while being comfortable to wear. The reverse is carefully finished too, with the handmade construction remaining part of their character.

Combining traditional crochet with an original approach to contemporary jewellery, these earrings are little pieces of wearable textile art – made from thread, made to be worn.
