Blush Pink & Ivory Crochet Rose Earrings

An original pair of handmade textile earrings, combining delicate crochet, floral forms and subtle sparkle.

The design is built around an ivory crochet flower, topped with a dimensional rose crocheted in blush pink and ivory yarn with a fine metallic thread running through it. The touch of shimmer catches the light without overpowering the natural texture of the fibres.

Above the main flower sits a smaller sparkling crochet motif, finished with a tiny faceted bead element for another point of light. The open crochet framework gives the earrings an airy, elongated silhouette, while the layered flowers add texture and sculptural depth.

A lovely detail is hidden on the reverse: a delicate shirt button sits at the centre of each flower. I enjoy incorporating unexpected and found elements into my textile jewellery, making the back of a piece interesting too.
